The North Road Burial Ground Database is a transcribed and digitised record of the hand written entries of 4 ledgers that make up the Record of Burials at Prittlewell Burial Ground.

Working with the wonderful ladies and gentlemen of the Southend Branch of the Essex Society for Family History each entry was examined and transcribed over the course of many long sessions in the redeveloped chapel.

There are 8045 entries in the database and each contains the transcription - sometimes translation of the original written entry including the Plot details, Name, Aged of the deceased, Date of interment, Record number in the register.

This website also included the photographs that were used to transcribe the entries and the photographs of the memorials that remain at the North Road Burial Ground.
